as the morning light
softly
dispels
the shades of the night
which linger
carelessly
behind small buildings
under verdant trees
beneath tumbled hedgerows
so the waking mind
anxiously
futilely
forlornly
follows the cloudy fragments
of a dream
as it trickles
temptingly
elusively
achingly
through the crevices
of consciousness
slipping
barely seen
behind
pillars of reason
columns of sanity
walls of understanding
built to protect
the soul
from
innocence
terror
truth
leaving behind
wonder
confusion
and an almost tangible sense of loss
OH AND I LOVE YOUR CLOSE,,,,”A TANGIBLE SENSE OF LOSS” PROFOUND FEELING,,,TANGIBLE SENSE OF LOSS,,,,WOW!

Alas, no, I am not multi-talented like yourself.
If you check out my post ‘And now for something’ from a few days ago, all will be explained.
But I am happy that you enjoyed the poem.
