Fishy Tales and Fishy Toes

AnElephantCant say that he fancies
His feet being nibbled by fish
He isn’t too sure
But this pedicure
Is perhaps just a little bit kitsch

It’s the latest in beauty craze treatments
Garra Rufa fish munch on your toes
Please don’t be misled
They only chomp what is dead
This Elephant frets they might chew on his nose

So you dip your big plates into water
And these tiny dudes think it’s their tea
They immediately begin
To eat the dead skin
But they won’t go as far as your knee

Some folk worry that this spreads diseases
When you have grazes or cuts on your feet
But if the water is clean
And you know where you’ve been
These Doctor fish could be right up your street

We are somewhat concerned what comes after
We’ve been spruced up by these little fellas
We’re not too enthused
If our appendage is used
As a place for folk to keep their umbrellas

That was brilliant Bri! You caught it!
    ( I hope to god I didn’t catch anything )

lolololol….oh dear. Brian did you really go?! If you did this makes me laugh quite heartily…too cute,

    • Alas no, dear lady. This Elephant has genetic memories which preclude dangling his extremities into water. Have you ever read Kipling’s How the Elephant got its Trunk?

      • ~Lady Day says:

        No..guess now I’ll have to:) Really? Water! Ahhhh…feeds this lady’s soul 🙂

        • Everything you read here is tongue-in-cheek.
If you recall The Elephants of Uist a few days ago, the elephants also love water. But this Elephant is reluctant to dangle due to genetic memories of piranhas, alligators, etc.
In my alter ego as a human (ish) being, my favourite relaxation is swimming in the Med. Your soul is safe here!

I wonder why do you love ELEPHANTS 😉
Can I know the secret 😉

    • The writer is half of AnElephantCant, with a more creative and talented artistic partner, who appears only at Hallowe’en, if Scottish sunstorms are in the heavens.
We do children’s books and related adventures, readings and ‘magic’ art and stuff.
Elephants are really cool, but children are way cooler.

I will do an Elephant post later, just for you.

Go on, say something, even if it's rude!
