Breakfast Epiphanies

Breakfast starts the perfect day
Pain au chocolat and café
Croissants avec confiture
The best way to begin your jour

And in the good old USA
A stack of pancakes shows the way
To start you off bright and breezy
Just add some eggs over easy

In England they enjoy the most
Marmalade on buttered toast
Perhaps they have a fluffy crumpet
A pot of tea like it or lump it

The Scots prefer to shovel food in
Bacon sausage and black pudding
Then to show we don’t lack courage
We add salt not sugar to our porridge

La cocina is the place to be
Gran taza of herbal tea
Pan y queso quite a test
Now put your feet up have a rest

No point in getting stressed or tired
No sense making your brain all wired
Tranquilo international
Chill out and dream in Eurinal
