A Silly Big Elephant Packs his Trunk

AnElephantCant stay always in Scotland
Sometimes he needs a taste of French culture
But no flying for he
He travels by land and by sea
He is an Elephant not an eagle or vulture

He takes the overnight sleeper to London
For breakfast with a very dear friend
Then a coach to the Channel
He is a resourceful animal
He wears a disguise so he does not offend

He has already made all his arrangements
His mahout meets him safely in Dover
Then onto the boat
Which happily stays afloat
The White Cliffs fade as he starts to cross over

To France where so much is different
So he knows he must look on the bright side
Oui cet Elephant
Est toujours content
He finds it fun to drive on the right side

If either of his readers have no plans for the next few days then AnElephant will provide a brief travelogue with pictures of his most recent misadventures.

If I had known you were passing my house, I would have waved at AnElephant. My house overlooks the docks of Dover.

I hope AnElephant enjoys his time in France.
