AnElephantCant be clever about Autumn
Like the wonderful TheWhyAboutThis
But he is sincere
He wants to make it quite clear
There is no way he is taking the um, mickey
Autumn may fall as all seasons do
Though Fall just never autumns
But colours range
And colors change
Like a thousand fading red suns
Picture this morning a fresh autumn day
In sunny Damperton-upon-Leven
Before long no doubt
Snow will lie round about
Deep and crisp and e-e-ven
But for now it’s blue skies and wisps of white cloud
And trees that are golden and russet
Soon it will not be nice
All hail sleet and ice
So till then let’s not even discuss it

Some mornings are just too beautiful not to photograph, even with very limited talent and equipment. Thank you.

Aha! AnElephant usually puts more effort into that than into the daft rhymes! Thank you for noticing!

Coming from you, dear Penny, that means a lot. But sometimes when the weather is like that the pics just take themselves.
