AnElephantCant say he’s a movie buff
In fact he would as soon read a book as
Watch a Spielberg epic
Or something by Kubrick
He’s not fussed by Tarantino or Lucas
But today he sees a film that excites him
It transports him to silver screen heaven
No FX and no plot
Just a single robot
Directed by his best friend aged just 7
Francis Ford Coppola makes pretty good movies
You may think that AnElephant is crazy
This knocks the socks off
All Alfred Hitchcock’s stuff
It is better than anything by Martin Scorsese
The hero has more charm than Paul Newman
From Clint Eastwood he can steal any scene
He says cheerio
To Bobby de Nirio
This dude can out-cool Steve McQueen
So just take a minute to watch it
You’ll forget that stale old Park Jurassic
It eliminates strife
Like It’s a Wonderful Life
AnElephant rates this movie a classic
Lovely. If Cannes doesn’t pan out, may I suggest a promo on Indiegogo?

AnElephantCant say he’s familiar
With this thingy you call Indiegogo
It rhymes nicely with promo
But is it a no go
Or just some more info that AnElephantDont know

As a representative of the community of international audiences I would have to rate this film as 4 stars – excellent! From the directing, to the script, to the rich and talented voice of the actor and the exciting movements of the robot all build to a most satisfactory and fulfilling ending. Yes definitely 4 stars, thumbs up! Excellent! 🙂

AnElephantCant believe that sweet Penny
Didn’t award this 5 stars only 4
He and Jack pack the van
They are heading for Cannes
To make a bid for the coveted Palme d’Or

AnElephantCant thank Alastair enough
For his views on this unprovoked attack
On the innocent glasses
Whose destiny alas is
In the hands of post-neo-ironic Director Jack

Ah but were they so innocent
Or was subterfuge their intent?
Were they really attacked by the toy?
Or was pretending just their ploy?
Alas I don’t think we will ever know
Lest over the side they both will go

I was frightened very frightened……….for the pair of glasses.
Loved the film and the accent too. I could watch it everyday, everyday.
(but Paul Newman? I will have to watch again and again before deciding.)

Tears of laughter from his eyes he must wipe
This dude’s no Paul Newman
He is not even human
He is much more the strong silent type
