Whose Zoo of Hotties and Naughties

AnElephantCant really argue about it
Most animals are prettier than he
Zebras giraffes and hosses
Even rhinoceroses
And an annoyingly cute chimpanzee

Folk like squirrels though they eat all the peanuts
And young Bambis with their long wobbly legs
And funny meerkats
And stumpy wombats
And wee turtles crawling out of their eggs

AnElephantCant spell hippomapotamerus
But its pups make the girls all go awww
Everybody loves duckies
And the chicks of cluck-cluckies
And kittens and black Labradors

He hopes that later he won’t see an alligator
Or in a while a fierce crocodile
He doesn’t mind ox or hawks
Or his friend Phil the Fox
Whose doodles make AnElephant smile

People like lions cos they’re real cool and majestic
And penguins though they walk dead funny
Princesses kiss frogs
Ladies knit with hedgehogs
From his hat AnElephant pulls a fluffy white bunny

What’s so great about those bouncy wallabies
Or koala bears or black and white pandas
Or coyotes that howl
Or hoot tooting owls
Although probably nobody really admires salamanders

There are websites for those who love Great Whites
Yes sharkophiles it’s scary go figure
People like goldfish in tanks
And meeces – no thanks!
And tiger cubs until they get bigger

And there are also all sorts of wee birdies
Like robins and budgies and starlings
But with his little-calf-lost smile
And his trunk prehensile
AnElephant still thinks he’s a bit of a darling
