AnElephantCant forget sensational Seattle
A city of high elegant buildings
He cavorts around
Delightful downtown
As though he is back in a playground with children

Downtown Seattle, WA

Downtown Seattle, WA

He can have fun in all sorts of places
It doesn’t take too much to spark it
He hears a shout and a swish
Sees Flying Crabs and Fish
Thrown by serving chaps in the superb Pike Place Market

Strolling along Alaskan Way on the waterfront
He gazes across Elliott Bay
With the help of Bill Gates
Seattle creates
A Sculpture Park with a stunning display

Seattle WA - Elliott Bay, the Space Needle, Alaskan Way with the Great Wheel

Seattle WA – Elliott Bay, the Space Needle, Alaskan Way with the Great Wheel

He is entranced by the amazing Space Needle
Which he knows is really quite famous
It looks like a space ship
Evokes a star-spangled trip
It even appeared in a movie with Elvis

The views from the top are breathtaking
The Olympic Mountains and the Puget Sound
The skyline of the city
As it starts to get lit he
Just wanders around and around

There is so much AnElephant can tell you
Like the hilarious Underground Tour
It tells how they burnt the old town
With comedic genius to the ground
AnElephant is rolling on the floor

But once again the highlight is the people
He will never hear Seattellites maligned
AnElephant is impressed
By how they treat a guest
They are helpful and overwhelmingly kind

    Nice views of Seattle, Elephant.
Did they let you on the monorail?
Can’t imagine you would fit though.
    Wasn’t Pike Place a gas?
Let me know if you get back to town.
