AnElephantCant pretend that he is normal
Sometimes he does get up to daft tricks
When he and his chum for a lark
Go exploring in the park
They both make sure that they carry beauty sticks
A boy can’t really have an adventure
Or AnElephant who supports his endeavour
Without a multi-functional tool
And Jack is no fool
He knows that to be caught empty handed is not clever
A stick is handy for cleaning out ditches
And keeping jaggy leaves out of your face
If it’s a long one
You can throw it for fun
But a little twig is hidden in a double secret place
It can be used for capturing dragons
Or zapping bad guys with its hydrosonic rays
It may be a magic wand
Or crack the ice on the pond
It gets utilised in about three thousand ways
Sometimes the scientists do mystic experiments
They sit a stick on a fence and watch for a wiggle or a wobble
This is sometimes quite dull
When the wind has a brief lull
But at least it keeps them out of trouble
A good stick can be used as a golf club
Or a bow for arrows or a bridge over a stream
And they are easy to hide
When the daring duo go inside
To enjoy their weekly helping of multi-flavoured ice cream
If you want to watch a really tedious but, in AnElephant’s clearly biased opinion, quite hilarious 100-second video, click here, but don’t say you have not been warned.

She should be careful of what she may step on

That they could be taught
If not to to sing then at least to bark

I love the way you use double meanings
When talking about the way you do tricks
But if you take a nap
Beware of the sap
But you could always try “Pooh sticks”

Well I sat in absolute fascination watching the wobbly sticks… I’m not sure if the experimentation actually proved anything but wow I was fascinated… (Go on, say something, even if it’s rude!) you told me to even if I was informed about being warned like an idiot I still watched all the way through wondering what the end result would be… (I had a smile on my face the whole way through)… maybe if they’d thrown the sticks the Bulldog might have given chase…who knows now…

AnElephantCant believe it

So he says nice doggy
Your face may be soggy
But your behaviour is quite good as gold
