Camels – nothing like Elephants
AnElephantCant claim he’s been everywhere
This world is an enormous place
But he gathers his thoughts
Remembers one or two spots
Where it’s best if he does not show his face
He has family all over the US
Here’s a niece and her son up in Oregon
She carries him on her back
Like he is a knapsack
These are pachyderms you can write a whole story on

Elephants as street art in Portland, Oregon
He says g’day mate to his cousin in Australia
And has a snap taken with him
And what do you think
He is chubby and pink
And his didgeridoo keeps the rhythm

AnElephant and an Oz Elephant
He goes to France to bonjour his nephew
Who is really un très charmant guy
As if that’s not enough
When he struts his stuff
He is top dog in Le Vieux Port de Marseille

UnElephant a Marseille
It is strange that back home in Scotland
It is colour that AnElephant lacks
There’s much he can take part in
While wearing the tartan
Yet his image is all greys and blacks

AnElephant in the kilt by Phil Burns
There is of course a point to these rambles
Even if he travels ten thousand miles
He seeks no acclaim
Treats everyone the same
And is rewarded with hugs and big smiles

AnElephant is happy by Emma
All elephants are related to anelephant. Lovely..and the camels are rather nice too

But of course, AnElephant is brother to all animals, even people.
And camels are so cool!

It does read that way. I meant that pachyderms have always been my favorite animal so I was voicing my agreement with your poem. 🙂

Great title ! AnElephantCan
Make the world go round…
Ou le porter sur son dos
Car il est les 4 piliers du monde
Il est dans les nuages et l’eau
Mais surtout il est sublime
Dans ses loxodonteuses rimes
Qui enchantent tout enfant.

AnElephant is certainly well travelled

And there is no dilemma

AnElephantCant sit home being boring
He likes to travel around a lot for sure
He meets his relations
Across many nations
And treats every day like a new adventure
