AnElephantCant stop himself gloating
He is swimming in the Mediterranean today
The water is lovely
He is feeling quite bubbly
He is the only pachyderm in all of Medville Bay
But he does feel a wee tinge of sadness
The season is now almost over
Yesterday it rains
But he does not complain
It is already the second half of October
It is now over 4 months since he exits Scotland
It seems like a lifetime ago
The weather there is quite different
Just a tad more inclement
He hopes that they don’t yet have hail or snow
His summer here is wonderfully creative
He writes rhymes and poems with each thought that he thinks
And what is more he’s
Penning lots of short stories
His pencils and crayons are soon running out of ink
He has tranquillity and relaxation in his new life
He stops turning over old stones
He is much more inclined
To find peace of mind
And he enjoys sunshine to warm his old bones
There are some things he misses in his homeland
But next week he makes a flying visit back
He turns up the heating
Gets some dental treatment
And spends lots of time with his beautiful Jack
Little is as happyfying
As the sight of AnElephant
Debonair and chill
Merrily Floating and grinning
In the waters of Medville
With shades on his nose
When waves curl his toes
Tu es vraiment folle!
Good for you:) An Elephant looks sentimental in this drawing
AnElephantCant deny that he is a sentimental old fool at times!
Hi dear Elephant. 🙂 Just nominated you for a Liebster award. This is the link to the post with questions, rules etc etc.
Hope you have fun with it!
AnElephantCant help feeling embarrassed
Or even perhaps slightly absurd
The fact that you read his stuff
Is reward enough
AnElephant cannot accept an award
But thanks you sincerely for your kindness.
lol – you’re welcome. Sorry, can’t make that rhyme!
That will be a shock to the system. I think Jack will love seeing you as much as you will love seeing him 🙂
Not sure if it snowing just yet, Al, but it will be sorely cold!
I just had a look at several of the cities, and there is only rain forecast for the next week. The lowest temperature will be 9°C (Inverness) and the highest 15°C (Dundee)
Awwww going back to your Bonnie Scotland…. hope you have a great flight and fantastic visit with your grandson 🙂
Thank you and hugs, Roxi!
AnElephant looks like he put on some weight…..
High livin’, m’dear, high livin’!
