AnElephantCant always be funny
And he can’t always write the best rhyme
But he can say thank you to Nelson Mandela
The greatest man in his lifetime

We remember the man in the green shirt
We remember the smile on his face
We remember he forgave the long hurt
We remember he united a race

Nkosi sikelel’ iAfrika
The words stir this elephant’s heart
Lord, bless Africa
Oh, Nelson, you made a great start

He was a great man, he was a miracle worker, he was a unique man, he was … nonetheless … a man, and unfortunately, the time of every man must end. It is very sad when it does though.

As I said to someone else, he will have entered Heaven (if he believed in that) to congratulations and warm welcomes

Yes. There is an empty place now, un desequilibre sur la terre. Nous sommes tous en deuil.

  10. He was a great man, and my friend a wonderful example of resilience of the human spirit. I don’t think many could have done what he did.

  11. There is such a feeling of disbelief. Brands have already put up billboards this morning. I don’t why this offends me, but the thought of using his death as an advertising brand building appalls me.
