Darkness and Light

Light and Shadow by Phil Burns

Light and Shadow by Phil Burns

Mediterranean sunshine
unique beauty
a small separate world
of light
and shadow
a butterfly
aimlessly waltzing
on a striped awning
a pigeon
nodding through
early morning
black-headed gull
seen from the bay
across a cliff face
a boat
in shining silver sea
a lizard
flash of grey
under a dark rock
colourless hills
sparkling steel water
all shades
of black and white
a world
seen only
in chiaroscuro

Charming and paints lovely monochrome images.

  2. Lovely! Warming thoughts on a cold day where I live.

  3. Delightful Sir Elephant, what a beautiful scene, well depicted.

Go on, say something, even if it's rude!
