she says she’ll stay here for a month
which forever he’ll remember
but he of course thinks differently
he wonders how long is September
before he met her he was blind
his life shadowed in dark mist
but west winds blew away the clouds
as they reached the end of August
when he thinks about her smile his heart
is quite prepared for its surrender
he fears the time is far too short
he wonders how long is September
and he finds out before too long
the month all too soon is over
the winter chill approaches fast
and wakens bleak October
now she prepares to take her leave
no words or pleas can bend her
she kisses him she says goodbye
he now knows how short is September
but times and women change always
and her heart now remembers
she thinks about his smile and then
like him she now longs for September
Yes, there is certainly a deep truth to your beautiful words and poem! 🙂 xo

Le rhythme du temps qui passe –un peu trop lent un peu trop vite– parcourt ton poeme.
Tres beau et triste.
