like a strawberry

I love you like a strawberry
I love you more than lime
you can be sweet you can be sour
but you are always mine

I love you more than cola drinks
As much as Irn Bru
sometimes you fizz right up my nose
but I always love you

I love you like Aix-en-Provence
More than Nice although it’s nice
your hair is wild as the Mistral
even the Med can’t match your eyes

I love you like an elephant
more than a lion or giraffe
you are stranger than a platypus
hey girl you make me laugh

I love you more than opera
as much as rock n roll
you are the notes that my heart sings
you are the music of my soul

I love you like the bonnie heather
more than the tall pine trees
much more than Nature’s finest work
so won’t you come back, please
