she is
warmth
in the winter
sunshine
in the dark
a bird
that sings
butterfly wings
she is
the night sky
full of stars
twanging guitars
a laugh
that can light
the longest night
she is
waves
over stones
a violin’s
sweet tones
daffodils
in spring
an eagle
on the wing
she is
a smile
a glance
AnElephant
that can dance
blue sky
white cloud
singing
aloud
she is
a quite
perfect wife
everything right
in my life
good luck
a hug
a door
never shut
but
she
is
gone
I too got a little crazy at the end but it still left me enjoying this verbal sculpture of the heart.

Dear Elephant,
That last line is a sucker punch. You have a knack for darkening the lightest moment. Wonderfully constructed and heartbreaking.

AnElephant is rocking with laughter, dear lady.
‘darkening the lightest moment’, what a wonderful turn of phrase!
Heartbreaking is what he lives for.
Or through?

AnElephant thanks Michele for her kind words, but thinks she is crazy long before she visits here.
