AnElephantCant travel forever
He arrives at his ultimate destination
Yep he is finally there
Au bord de la mer*
The Med which for him holds great fascination
He sees pretty ladies in French bikinis
Some of which are quite frankly startling
One in bright lime
Makes his pulse rate climb
Madame looks like three small startled Martians
AnElephantCant ever be lazy
He does not lie in his bed till
Much after seven
Now that he’s in heaven
A glorious spot in Provence he calls Medville
To be truthful he did not name it
No this is the perfect small gem he
Is invited to share
Because he has nowhere
By his delightful and talented blog friend dear Emmy**
She shows him around sunshine paradise
She asks Elephant what do you think
He has a new smile
Wide as a sea mile
He says Emmy give me a haut cinq
So he plans now to simply relax here
Until the the knots in his trunk all unravel
But he guesses he might
Be tempted to write
About the wonders of France he sees on his travels
*Au bord de la mer – at the sea side
Haut cinq – high five

Unwind, relax and enjoy yourself, and your surroundings, and yes, I for one agree completely with you. Emmy’s beautiful compositions are well worth a visit to be viewed by others. She is exceedingly talented with her written words! 🙂 xo

Great post and what a fabulous looking town! I’m sure you will find lots of inspiration there. ( I loved that song, and Andy Fairweather Low, when I was young! )
