AnElephantCant believe he has never
Written about the Riverside Museum before
Beautifully situated at the side
Of the great River Clyde
It is a haunt he and Jack both adore
And now the bold duo are ecstatic
They have one more reason to cheer
This marvellous site
To their great delight
Is voted European Museum of the Year
The building itself is quite stunning
Designed to emulate ocean waves
Inside the exhibits
Ensure fascinating visits
So that even AnElephant behaves
He loves the interactive approach here
Which help him and the kids understand
How welders are trained
Steam power and camouflage explained
And Jack simulates crashes by hand
There are buses and trams and motor cars
A steam locomotive that is really quite vast
And children can gaze
At a host of displays
Which highlight the Clydeside’s famous shipbuilding past
AnElephant does something amazing
Completes his whole piece with no rhyme for museum
When your trip is planned
And you’re next in Scotland
Head to Glasgow and just Carpe Diem
Wow great piece and photos. Scotland is on my bucket list for ‘someday’… for sure! 😉

I see that the means of transport to get there are really modern (the zebra is an unusual touch)! What’s exhibited, though?

That’s awesome. If I do manage to get to Scotland at some point, I will attempt to go there.

Of course I’d also have to go to my own castle whilst there. I just have to convince my kids it’s a good idea to go 😉
